Chalkboard Lost & Found
Build a message board for your laundry room with clips to hold onto anything ;lost and found;.
Step 1
First, cut the MDF with your Saw-Max™ and wood and plastic cutting wheel to size. We made ours to accommodate the yardstick graphics.
Step 2
After that, cut the yardstick to desired lengths as shown on the image. Ours are 13" and 4 1/2".
Step 3
Cut slots with the Dremel 4000 and 543 Cutting/Shaping Wheel to measure approximately 3/8" deep into the long-sided edge of your MDF, spaced evenly.
Step 4
Paint the MDF with chalkboard paint.
Step 5
Once the paint is dry, glue the binder clips into the slots you cut in Step 3.
Step 6
Then, glue on the cut pieces of the yardstick to your chalkboard piece, and let dry. Lastly, secure picture hangers to the back of the chalkboard and hang onto the wall.
