Let's Get Started
To reduce the risk of injury user must read instruction manuals for all tools used in this project. Wear eye and respiratory protection. Use clamps to support work piece whenever practical.
Apply a thick layer of paint to the pot and leave to dry completely.
Draw your desired design onto the pot using a pencil.
Use clamps or other practical way to secure and support the workpiece to a stable platform. Etch over your pencil design using a Dremel rotary tool with an engraving accessory like the 191 bit. Experiment taking several passes over the design to adjust the width of your line. If you are decorating a few pots, we recommend using a fluted Tungsten Carbide Cutter like our 9904 or 9910 bit.
