Pallet Table

As a reminder- the dimensions you'll be making your cuts to are subject to change based on your pallet. We chose a pallet which had straight boards which were all intact. Begin by cutting your pallet down to size. To maintain the structure of your table, make sure you keep the middle beam intact. Using the SM20 & SM600 Wood & Plastic Flush Cutting Wheel, we cut our pallet down the middle, flush with the center beam.

Since our table was created as a dual table & storage unit, we cut a 18 x 24" metal shelf to line the bottom, inside of the pallet. Measure the area you're lining with shelving & mark your cut on the sheet of 26 gauge sheet metal. Next, remove your SM600 Wheel you used in step 1 and replace it with the SM510C Metal Cutting wheel. With your sheet metal secured on your workbench, cut along your marked line. Tip: Let the speed of the tool do the work & do not force the blade through the metal.

Give your table a smooth finish by sanding it with the NEW Dremel MM30 & 70W Sandpaper. With your tool set to high speed, make light, circular passes across the surface of the table.

Next, use your drill & hole saw to create 4 holes at each corner of the table through which you’ll set the legs of your table. We used 4 pieces of 18" long 1" ID galvanized pipe to serve as each leg. Therefore, we used a 1 3/8" hole saw to create each hole, giving our legs a snug fit. Once you set each leg evenly in place, set each into a floor flange which will serve as a sturdy base to your legs.
