  Dremel Ultra-Saw US40
Introducing a multi-saw with more power, faster cutting speed and improved durability—the Dremel Ultra-Saw.

With a longer lasting drivetrain and metal guards, the Ultra-Saw has the ability to take on difficult cuts with precision and ease through tough materials including metal, tile, plastic and wood. Advanced DIYers and pros will also appreciate its compact size and clear line-of-sight for truly clean, efficient cutting.

The 3-in-1 tool goes beyond the expected cutting functions with surface preparation applications including rust, paint and thinset removal.

Available for purchase in May 2014, our new Ultra-Saw is the perfect tool to add to your Dremel collection.

Accessory Highlight
Two New Multi-Max Accessories on the Horizon

Coming soon, the Multi-Max has two new accessories to help you complete your sanding projects:

The MM730 Contour Sander accessory is the first Dremel oscillating tool accessory designed for contour sanding. It provides ultra-smooth results on a variety of wood and metal materials, and has five unique contour shapes, allowing you to bring new life to old objects with a multitude of intricate grooves and contours.

The MM910 60 Grit Diamond Paper accessory is perfect for removing tough materials such as cement, masonry, stone, plaster and thin-set mortar. Featuring 60 grit diamond abrasive, the MM910 can also remove paint or oil stains from driveways, excess mortar from bricks, and rust from patio furniture. (Requires MM11 or MM14 hook and loop pad accessory.)

Featured Project
Model Boat

Dremel Maker JD Thomas recently shared images and details surrounding a model boat that he completed with the help of his Dremel 4000, 575 Right Angle Attachment and Multi-Max. Beginning in January 2012, it took JD 11 months to complete the project, which was inspired by an actual fire boat that was built for his fire department in Charlotte, N.C.

JD first created a scaled blueprint, and then cut the wood. From there, he used wood glue and nails to keep the pieces together.

Once the wood was set, he coated it with an epoxy resin and then sanded it to a silky finish. Using primer, paint and a little more handy work, JD completed his boat project (which can now also float in water!) Way to go JD!
