1Dremel A577 Detailer's Grip Attachment - Optional
Let's Get Started
To reduce the risk of injury user must read instruction manuals for all tools used in this project. Wear eye and respiratory protection. Use clamps to support work piece whenever practical.
This project can be completed using any Dremel variable speed Rotary Tool. We chose to use our new 4200 tool and added the Detailer's Grip which comes in the kit for extra control. If you choose to use the Detailer's Grip on your tool as well, simply remove the nose-cap and screw the Detailer's Grip onto the front of the tool. Insert your accessory of choice. We started working on larger, flat areas with our Fine Finishing Abrasive Buff in our tool set to a low speed setting.
For tighter grooves to reach along the very bottom of the sole we swapped in the 403 Nylon Bristle Brush and kept our tool to a low setting between 5,000 to 11,000 RPMs as recommended by safety for this accessory. Reminder: Gently run your accessory over the sole of the shoe. Remember to let the speed of the tool do the work and do not apply excess pressure so as not to damage your shoe. When finished, wipe your shoe clean!
