Who Won the Two Grand Prizes?!?

Don’t worry, we didn’t forget! The two grand prize winners will be announced in the coming weeks. Be sure to check back here at this blog post or on our Facebook and Instagram pages to see if you are the lucky winner of the Dremel DigiLab suite including the new Laser Cutter and 3D45 Printer OR the 3D45 3D Printer and Dremel tool suite.

It Could Really Happen!

Check out how last year’s Dremel Maker Days 2017 Grand Prize Winner, Richard Berg have been enjoying their prizes and what it is like to be the Dremel Maker Days Grand Prize Winner.

2017 Grand Prize Winner Richard Berg shares his story:

When I first saw the email about winning the grand prize, I could not believe it to be true. I was shocked because, and I'm sure you hear this A LOT, I never win anything.  It was not until the UPS guy came with that big, beautiful box that I realized that I was not dreaming. Living in a rural town, tech does not make it inroads into home as quickly as I would like, so I was eager to unpack the tools, especially the Dremel DigiLab 3D45 3D Printer.

We quickly unboxed the 3D45 Printer and in minutes we started our first print. Having no real history or knowledge of 3D printing we were happy to find that there were preloaded print files that came with the printer.  Hours, days and weeks of printing later I never ceased to continue learning from each of my prints. I was and still am in seventh heaven with my Dremel 3D printer.

I am excited to start my next project and utilize even more of the Dremel tools I won. I am excited to participate in the ongoing Maker Days celebration this year, to inspire makers out there just like me who love playing around with new tech and tools!
